This is one of the first pieces of Jay that I used appeal in characters to my explicit benefit.
PAGE ONE
The Time Breaker is a story of mine that I've been writing for a very long time, and it took me long enough to put it into a comic like form. More information can be found on the "My Superheroes" page.
Bernerd
My god of time & space
Bernerd is a bit glitchy when we happen upon him in The Time Breaker, the name of the book suggesting that alone. He's nearly robotic at first as he's surrendered his will. But when Jay tries freeing him from his debt, things get a little... discordant.
Damien
Damien Drake, who you'll see twice on this page, owns a coin (temporarily) that allows him a metal suit of armor. This depicts him walking alone through a stream towards a forest he certainly needs the suit for.
Concepts
There are a million turns a character's road can take with only a few parameters. While starting projects, I aim to foster an overall theme while maintaining a wider scope of options.
Experimenting with physical line art moving to digital coloring is an ambition of mine, and these are a step towards it. Next up? Inking.

Mom
A gift for her birthday, and a step by step of the graphite to inking process, colored with colored pencil.
Serre
The original villain I had designated for Apollo, this character has evolved a few times throughout his creation. While he might not be his arch-nemesis anymore, he's a constant thorn in the side of the Greenwood boys' luck.
Damien
Some of the few images from this page are from my world of superheroes. While most of the information about them can be found on the My Superheroes page, I love how this ink turned out.
Scattered
Being an archer, I have arrows on my mind.
Being an artist, I have ink in my blood.
Being a Phineas Gage fan, I have issues.
Roadrunner
I had a minute or two to do this drawing of one of Wile E. Coyote's schemes. Dry-erase markers are still ink, right?

CHARCOAL
PUPPETMASTER
A 48 inch panoramic piece dedicated to the word "beauty", in pure black and white charcoal.
APOLLO
This is the first full-fledged charcoal piece I did on my own. I had worked with a still life or two, and even tried cartooning with it, but this was the beginning of my fascination with blending values.
PHOENIX
A.K.A. Phoe
The sibling of the Greenwood boys, she is a projection of their mother who was reborn as Phoe. She's an impulsive, headstrong, and knowledgeable joy to have on their team. While Jay hasn't known she existed until Danny disappears, he feels like he's known her his whole life.
ARMORY
This was one of my first drawings of Armory's suit, the metal climbing over in a liquid state, forming plates of armor. This is the same premise as the images for Damien's suit of armor, though the coin and the moniker Armory belong to a guy named Scott Hale.
PATRICK MAHOMES
Starting a birthday present for an old roommate, a few hours later I had good likeness for the Chiefs' quarterback.
