I've been making superheroes for others for a few years now. "What would be your superpower?" is something I've always loved asking people... maybe a little too much. But it's also become an intriguing window into people's personalities, because it isn't the only question. "What name would you choose?" or "Would you wear a mask?" and the most important one: "WHY?" You start to see HOW they want to make a difference. While exploring what their "super-goal" is, the visualization of those aspects can come to life in wardrobe, theme, and art in general.
I am happy to create your image at any size--typically I make them printable to 24x36"
If you want to get a feel for what you can ask of me, read on in this page to find out more about the process!

TAKE THE SURVEY; TAKE YOUR POWER
Once you've completed the Order Request Form, I will send you the survey I've designed to help me guide you through these choices and towards the super-person you've always wanted to be.

ABYSS
A mix of birthday and Christmas presents for my brother, that coalesced into the beginnings of this project. While these are the most expensive(as they are completely custom and digitally painted/textured, as well as progressively more in depth in its relation to the background)--the more involved the poster, the more involved the super inside you.
For reference: These are custom projects valued at $350, $375, & $500
UNLEASHED BEAST & TURBOSPEED
The two of my cousin's children were commissioned by their grandmother (my aunt) for their very own supers! We had their mother and grandma take the surveys, settling on super-strength for William and super-speed for Calvin. Their supers now hang on their bedroom doors.
For reference: These are valued at $400 each

RUSH
A drawing of one of my brother's characters, one you can find the full-fledged poster version of above. This would be an example of "two-toned" or "one layer" shading. While it may not provide the same dramatic sense as the digital paintings, it lends a sense of depth that has been a consistent trend in modern animation for its benefits.
A custom commission like this would cost $225
OBLIVION
A roommate of mine who was persuaded to follow my power-mapping process, and became a teleporting astronaut with a knack for predicting causality. The powers can range from in-depth to your casual-everyday-super-strength. It just depends on YOU!
This custom design would be valued at $150

SHATTER, THUNDER (+NIKKI), AND LIGHTSPEED

My neighbors were the first to ask about this, and a huge supporter of my endeavor. Because it was so early in the idea, the former two were drawn over a template of a super-pose. Originally it was just the grandparents, and Lightspeed came later with a request for their grandson. Lightspeed was made to be printed: the metallic shading, light-trail power effects and other additions easy enough to incorporate. With Shatter, who was actually turned into an embroidered shirt shown below, a simplification of coloring was what worked best for the embroidery:
Feel free to ask me any questions you might have about turning your designs into wearables!
I can always recommend certain methods, but it also plays into my process. Don't be afraid to ask questions!
Shatter & Thunder are valued at $100 each, while something like Lightspeed is valued at $225

NOM BOMB
A commission of mine whose darts not only allow him the ability to control others' mind, but let him partake in the food they might have on their person.
A commission like Nom Bomb would cost $175
THE FOX, NITRO, AND GALAXY

This commission was for a family and pets, but any can be separated upon request! Mind you, it does help to know if a family shot is in play, as it helps me orchestrate poses!
An order like this would be priced around $500

ANIMATED GIFS
Even if you want your day-to-day outfit, just let me know! These little Animated gifs would cost more, but it can be fun seeing your powers come to life.

KNOWN HEROES
It's difficult to know where the line of appropriation comes into view with acknowledgement. I'm not sure if I can earn anything from drawing clients as a known character, what kinds of licenses I would need, or if any depiction could be considered plagiarism.
Because of this, as of now, I am not accepting requests to draw others as characters from known properties, movies, television, or comic sources. I will try my best to maintain clarity in this respect, and indicate credit to the influences of my work where it is due.
This next portrait was something I did of myself and the Joker of DC Comics. The creators of this character include Bob Kane, Jerry Robinson, and Bill Finger, as well as countless others who have lent their voice to this character over the years.
